After beginning his real estate career in 2002 and working for several years with well-respected boutique brokerage firms in Charlotte, Kelly opened Frenzel Properties in February 2009. Kelly has earned a reputation of working hard for his clients and strives to be the trusted real estate advisor that families and individuals need.
Kelly holds a BA in Marketing from NC State and an MBA in Finance from the University of Tennessee. Before going into real estate in 2002, Kelly worked for Bank of America in Charlotte.
Kelly and his family live in Myers Park and are members of First Presbyterian Church. He and wife Michelle have been married 31 years and have two children. Son Burke is a senior at Charlotte Country Day School and daughter Anna Grace is a sophomore at the same school. They enjoy spending time in the North Carolina mountains, Kiawah Island, and traveling when time permits. Kelly also enjoys staying active by playing golf, pickleball, and tennis.
What was the first concert you attended?
Ratt/Bon Jovi in 1985 at the Charlotte Coliseum. I was 15 years old.
Who is your favorite rock star?
Prince is my favorite rock star and I regret that I never saw him in concert.
