A New Type of Tough.
We're on a mission to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental illness through awareness, education, and ambassadors.
Mission 34 was organized in honor and loving memory of Sean P. Bonner, Jr. who died by suicide at age 20.
Sean was a beloved friend, strong in body but silently battling mental illness, whose untimely death stunned all. Mission 34 seeks to raise awareness, urging openness and support for mental health struggles, emphasizing that seeking help shows strength, not weakness.
We are Mission 34 – A New Type of Tough.

We're on a mission to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental illness through awareness, education, and ambassadors.
We ignite change and foster understanding by bringing mental health into the spotlight. Through engaging events, inspiring speakers, and active social media presence, we create a community that supports mental well-being and encourages everyone to seek help without hesitation.
By collaborating with college campuses and sponsoring expert speakers, we empower students to prioritize and manage their mental health effectively. Mission 34 equips young adults with crucial mental health knowledge and tools through a specialized curriculum for college chapters. We deliver educational materials, training sessions, and resources aimed at tackling the unique challenges faced by college students.
Join us as a Mission 34 Ambassador and stand with us in breaking the stigma around mental health. Whether you're a student, educator, counselor, volunteer, or supporter, your voice and involvement are vital. By speaking out and actively participating, you help us extend our reach and impact. Become an ambassador today and be a part of our transformative mission.
Our events serve as an opportunity to spread awareness and to build hope. We are driven by the opportunity to save lives.
Mission 34 brings in professionals and those who have a personal story to share about the signs and struggles of mental illness. An intimate and casual setting enables open conversations in order to eliminate the stigma.
Since 2019, this lively event has drawn over 250 participants each year, celebrating Sean's legacy by combining fun, laughter, and community to raise mental health awareness. Everyone is welcome— assemble your team and come be a part of this unforgettable day!
Every November, all Mission 34 College and City Chapters honor Sean's memory with a 3.4-mile community walk, held on college campuses and in chapter cities. Virtual participants also welcome. Don't forget to tag us @Mission34spb.
On Febreuary 1st, 2025 Mission 34 will host its first large evening fundraising event. It will be a combination of fun, dinner, dancing and special music program. VIP donor and sponsorship opportunities are available.
